FINE ARTWorking in Oil or Acrylic on board or canvas, Steven has developed a very photo-realistic style of painting influenced by American Artists such as Chuck Close, Ralph Goings and Richard Estes. His subject matter is predominantly focused on his family and the surrounding countryside of the Northwest of England and the Lake District, although in 2011 Steven's began working with several professional models in the studio. Steven P Smith's Studio Portrait paintings have become widely sought after and can be purchased from good Art dealers and galleries throughout the UK. Just some of the galleries that often sell Steven's original work are Hepplestone Fine Art, based close to Steven's Home in Lancashire, and the Unicorn Galleries in Cheshire.
