BIOGRAPHY

Throughout the 1990's Steven P. Smith built up a reputation as a renowned scenic painter and mural artist working throughout the UK and Europe.

His business SPS-ILLUSTRATION is still well known and respected for produceing stunning bespoke murals, backscenes and theme work both commercially and for private clients. He has worked with many important companies such as Leisure Parcs, De Vere, Marriott, Tussauds, Pinewood Studios, The National Army Museum and on major projects for film, television and throughout the Leisure industry.

Recently Steven has returned to his fine art background, devoting much of his time to his passion for figurative and portrait painting.

He is currently working towards an exhibition of Seven large self-portraits in oils that depict his interpretation of the 'seven deadly sins'.

As part of this ongoing project Steven occassionally produces smaller studies in oil on canvas as preparatory work towards each main piece.
